Pasquale S Didonato

Pasquale S. DiDonato,95, passed away on Friday morning October 26th at his home in Glenville. Born in Schenectady, Pat was the son of the late Pietro and Nellie (DeLucia) DiDonato and a graduate of CBA. A WWII Army veteran, he was a 1949 graduate of Siena College with a Bacholers Degree in Social Studies. The former owner and insurance agent with Pat DiDonato Insurance Agency and the Bellevue Insurance Agency for over 23 years, he retired in 1973. After retiring to Florida Pat worked as a courier for the Hollywood Federal Savings and Loan. A diehard NY Yankee fan, Pat played golf until he was 88 years old. He was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Glenville, the Bellevue Merchants and V.F.W. Post 1895. Pat was also a former President with Bellevue Pop Warner, former officer and coach with Bellevue Little League and bowled with the City Catholic League. Predeceased by his wife Helen Corini DiDonato in 2012, he was also predeceased by a son Peter DiDonato and two sisters, Geraldine and Marion Suriano. Survivor's include his children; Patricia Clark (Donald) of Lutz,Fl.,Paul DiDonato (Janet) of Burnt Hills and Mark DiDonato (Patti) of Duanesburg, his daughter-in-law, Francine DiDonato of Davie, FL, 8 grandchildren,9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Pasquale's life will be held on Friday November 2nd at 12 noon at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY . A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 to 12 noon prior to the services. Interment will follow in St John's Cemetery in Schenectady.
