Judith Ann Meyers Nichols (Leonard)

Judith Ann Meyers Nichols, 78, of Glenville passed away at the Glendale Home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday April 15, 2018. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Gladys (Roberts) Leonard. She attended Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady. She was employed in the Dietary/ Food Service Department of the former St. Clare's Hospital in Schenectady. Judith also assisted in her brother's business, the former Insight Christian Book Store, here in Schenectady. Judith was a member of the Church of the Nazarene here in Schenectady. She loved her church. She also played and was passionate about the violin. Judith was also an avid gardener and enjoyed growing flowers and vegetables. Judith enjoyed camping and family outings. She was a loving mother and a "fun" grandmother. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband Robert Nichols and three brothers-Dale Wesley Leonard, Gregory Leonard and Leslie Leonard. Judith is survived by three sons -Kenneth Meyers of Schenectady, William Meyers of Sacramento, CA and Daniel Meyers of the Dominican Republic, three daughters-Karith Meyers of Simi Valley, CA, Patricia Mohr of Ballston Spa and Tonnette Mastropolo (John) of Monroe, NY. She is also survived by her brother Timothy Leonard (Deborah) of Rotterdam as well as many grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Judith will be Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 11AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Visitation will be held 10-11AM prior to the service.
