John Crowley

John J. Crowley, 73, of S. Thompson Street, Rotterdam died Friday January 12, 2007 at Ellis Hospital. John was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late John and Anna (Campbell) Crowley. He served in the US Navy from 1953-1961. John was at one time a manager for the Robert Hall Clothing Store in Schenectady. He was also employed until retirement in 1994 as a Machinist for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. John is predeceased by one son Michael Crowley. He is survived by his wife Joan Tuttle Crowley whom he married June 30, 1979, two sons Dan Crowley (Angela) of Delanson, and John Crowley ( Patricia) of Burnt Hills, two daughters Laurie Leone ( Rick) of Schenectady and Anne-Marie Daley ( Brian) of Cincinnati, Ohio, four step sons Jay Quimby (Sherry) of Tuplo, Miss., John Quimby ( Ellen) of Clifton Park, James Quimby ( Lisa) of Guilderland, and Jeffrey Quimby ( Tiffany) of Lilburn, GA, also survived by 19 Grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be Tuesday 11AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church 1911 Fairview Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Monday evening 6-8PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Inurnment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville.
