Doris Lillian Tonge Welsh, 95, died Tuesday after a short illness. Doris was born in North Adams MA and lived most of her life in NY where she was a member of the Fisher Methodist Church. She was a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a poet, a writer and an inspiration to all who knew her. She is survived by her daughter Arlene of Leicester, MA and her son Ronald of Catskill, NY, five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Steven, Valerie, Jonathan, Melissa, eight great- grandchildren, Ryan, Lauren, Derek, Alison, Matthew, Jason, Benjamin, Samuel and her cat, Snowflake. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 10 at 11 am at The Unity Church of Central Massachusetts, 21 Cedar Street, Worcester MA. A private Internment will be held in East Galway Cemetery , East Galway, NY. Memorial contributions can be made to the Building Fund of the Unity Church of Central MA, Worcester , MA..
