Armond X. Mastroianni, 46, of Karenwald Lane Schenectady entered into eternal rest on Friday January 18, 2008 after a long courageous battle with Cancer at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born on April 11, 1961 in Schenectady, Armond was the son of the late Pasquale Mastroianni and Mary (Lazzari) Mastroianni of Schenectady. He was a graduate of Bishop Gibbons High School in Schenectady and also attended Norwich University in Vermont. Armond was President and Owner of Mastroianni Bros. Bakery Inc. He succeeded his father Pasquale, whom with his seven brothers founded the family business in 1923. Armond was a very generous, humble and passionate man with a love for his business. He was a member of St. Anthonys Church in Schenectady. Besides his Father, he is predeceased by one sister Aurelia Miller, and his father in Law David W. Small. Besides his mother, Armond is survived by his wife Tracy Small Mastroianni whom he married September 29, 1991, two brothers Dr. Anthony Mastroianni (Susan) of Schenectady, Pasquale Mastroianni Jr. (Carmel) of Guilderland, three sisters Laura Salvatore (Dr. Richard) of Saratoga Springs, Josepha Abba (Charles) of Delmar, and Mary Drescher (Peter) of Fayetteville, NY, Son in Law of Kathleen Susko ( James) of Mechanicville, Brother in Law of Mitchell Miller of Schenectady and Susan D. Cincotta ( John) of Rocky Point, NY, also survived by 22 Nieces and Nephews and 1 Great Nephew. A Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 11AM at St. Anthony's Church 331 Seward Place in Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Internment will be in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
