Zaia Damon

Zaia Barbara Damon, of Latham, NY, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4th, 2024, at the age of 76.

Born in Schenectady, New York, Zaia was the cherished daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha (Reed) Damon.

Zaia enjoyed her weekly bowling league, needlepoint, working at Maple Ridge Center, and spending time with her family.

Predeceased by her parents, Zaia is also predeceased by her brother, Richard Reed Damon.

She is survived by her niece, Debra Lee Mantell (Edward), her nephews Michael John Damon (Sharon) and Rick Jeffrey Damon (Jolene). She is also survived by  her sister in law, Jacquelyn Damon and her best friend Susan Barrett and her family, a great niece, five great nephews, three great great nieces, two great great nephews, and several cousins.

A service for Zaia will be held on October 10,2024 at 10AM at Bond Funeral Home,1614 Guilderland Ave, Schenectady NY 12306. Burial will immediately follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to her family at Bouchard Home for all the love and care the showered on Zaia throughout her years with them.
