William G Penman

William G. Penman, 56, of Schenectady died Thursday January 1, 2009 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady; he was the son of the late William K. and Kathryn (Waytho-Penman) Harrigan. William served in the US Navy. He was employed as an Electrician for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. William enjoyed Bowling, Swimming, and Playing Cards with his Buddies, Football, Horse Racing, the Casinos and his Vacations in Mexico. William was loved by many for his sense of humor, kindness and generosity. He was known for doing kind deeds and helping people in the community. William quietly made Donations to the City Mission. He is survived by his Brother, Stephen Penman ( Jill) of Martinez, CA, two sisters Gail D' Atri (Tony) of Martinez, CA and Debra Greco of Mechanicville, NY, his longtime companion Maria DeLugo of Schenectady, his special relative James Harrigan of Rotterdam, also survived by several nieces Gracie Rae Penman, Marissa D'Atri, Hailey D' Atri, Jamie Greco and Katherine Greco. Funeral Services will be Friday 10:30AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Schenectady. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Thursday evening 5-7PM at the funeral home. Internment will be in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady.
