William P Paurowski

William P. Paurowski Sr., 94, of Schenectady died Thursday January 3, 2008 at the Avenue Nursing Home in Schenectady. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Francis and Apollonia ( Zagharkiewigz) Paurowski. He was a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. William was the owner for 50 years of Bill's Market in Schenectady, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady. William is predeceased by his wife Margaret Chinni Paurowski whom he married August 1, 1937, one son Theodore W. Paurowski and one brother Theodore Paurowski. He is survived by two sons William P. Paurowski Jr. (Sandra) of Rotterdam and Michael J. Paurowski of Palm Springs, CA, six Grandchildren-Mitchell Paurowski, Nicole Dwyer, Kelly Fingerhut, Tracy Paurowski, Adam Paurowski and Matthew Paurowski also survived by 4 great Grandchildren-Baylee Fingerhut, Kelly Dwyer, Casey Dwyer and Connor Dwyer. Funeral Services will be Thursday at 9:15AM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady followed by a Mass at 10AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Wednesday evening 6-8PM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Niskayuna.
