William H Pattison

William H. Pattison 85 and formerly of Helderberg Avenue died Friday morning January 5, 2007 at Dutch Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation. Born in Wayne, MI, William was the son of the late Floyd and Gertrude (Marks) Pattison. A graduate of Scotia schools and the General Electric Apprenticeship program, William was an Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII. He was employed for over 42 years at the General Electric Company in the large Steam Turbine department. William was a Turbine Supervisor when he retired. An avid bowler, he was a member of the Scotia United Methodist Church and the G.E. ? century club. Survivors include his wife of 52 years June E. Pattison (Higgins) and three sons, Rev. G. William Pattison (Norah) of Albany, James H. Pattison of Tucson, AZ., John C. Pattison of LasVegas, NV. and Scott B. Pattison (Diane) of Schenectady and two granddaughters, June Pattison and Jane Pattison. A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon January 12, 2007 at 2 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY, Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in his memory.
