William E Faure

William E. Faure 73 of Fultonville died Sunday December 4, 2005 at St. Mary's Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Peter and Lillian Faure. A graduate of Draper High School and the Junior College of Albany. A Navy veteran of the Korean war, bill worked as a tax examiner for New York State for over 25 years before his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the Schenectady Dog Training Club, the Albany Obedience Club and the Great Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America. Survivors include his wife Jeannette A. (Glunder) Faure, two children Christopher W. Faure and wife Teresita of Averill Park and Catherine L. Faure of Dover, NH a sister Ruth Munson of Ft. Edward and two grandchildren Steffi and Tristan Faure both of Averill Park. He was also predeceased by two sisters Lillian Hughes and Edith Charette. Funeral services will be held on Thursday morning at 9:30 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 6 to 8 pm.. Interment in Saratoga National Cemetery at 11:30 am with full military honors. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Schenectady Dog Training Club, Gower rd., Scotia, NY or to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Ave., Gloversville, NY 12078
