Wesley S Macfarlane Jr

Wesley S. MacFarlane Jr., 87, of Rotterdam died Friday December 19, 2008 at Mt. Loretto Nursing Home in the Town of Amsterdam. Born in Schenectady, he was the son of the late Wesley S. and Clara (Gunn) MacFarlane Sr. Wesley was employed for over 40 years as machinist for the General Electric Company in Schenectady. He was a member of the GE Quarter Century Club. He attended the Bellevue Reformed Church in Schenectady. Wesley is predeceased by one brother Albert W. MacFarlane and one brother in law William Remus. He is survived by his sister Beatrice M. MacFarlane Remus of Scotia, two nieces Betty Branwell (Peter) of Amsterdam and Bonnie Lange (Craig) of Scotia, two great nieces Michelle and Alaina Lange, and one great, great niece Haley Ann Deemer. A Graveside Funeral Service will be Tuesday 11AM in Vale Cemetery 907 State Street in Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There will be no calling hours by request. Arrangements are by the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
