Wendy (Fox) Koreman

Rotterdam - Wendy Koreman, 51, of Rotterdam passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at home.  Wendy was born in Schenectady, NY on August 29, 1972 and graduated Scotia-Glenville High School.  She is the loving daughter of the late Pamela Guthrie.

Wendy worked in healthcare related services for many years, serving as a home health aide manager and a medical supply manager.  Wendy enjoyed gardening and had a deep love for music, especially Shinedown and Nickelback.   She was an avid animal lover and always had her two beloved dogs by her side, Mo and the late Jeter.  Wendy was very spiritual and had a deep faith in God.  Her kind heart and warm smile will be sorely missed.

Wendy is survived by her two daughters, Jacqueline and Alyssa, her cherished grandson, Michael and her partner of many years, Gene A. Koreman (although separated, they were still close friends and co-parents).  Also surviving is her companion of the last two years, Dan.  Wendy was predeceased by her brother Michael J. Fox.

Visitation will be on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 2:00 to 3:00 with a service at 3pm at Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.

Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in Memory’s Garden, Colonie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12302 in memory of Wendy Koreman.
