Vivian Pfaffenbach

Vivian Pfaffenbach, 91, died Monday evening January 3, 2005 at Kingsway Arms Nursing Center after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Lillian Wesley and the wife for over 30 years of the late Irving B. Pfaffenbach who died in 1966. Vivian worked for over 35 years as a matron in the Niskayuna School District before her retirement and was a member of the Alplaus Methodist Church. She is survived by her son; Dr. Peter I. Pfaffenbach (Carolyn) of Glenville, a sister; Marion Willsey (Bob) of Fredericksburg, VA, four grandchildren; Amy Habeeb (George), Wendy Heineeg (Max), Jenny Hicks (Steven) and Becky Dean (Micah), two great grandchildren; Calvin Hicks and Ava Heineeg and 3 cousins; Richard Willsey of Fredericksburg, VA, Raymond Wesley of Syracuse and Dr. James Wesley of Glenville. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12309 in her memory.
