Vivian W Hopkins

VIVIAN W. HOPKINS, age 94, died at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, which was her home for the final decade of her life, on Sept. 10, 2016. She was born on Sept. 19, 1921 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada to the late Catherine (Langford, Oliver) Hopkins and Cortland Bushnell Hopkins. She moved to Schenectady as a child. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was employed in the housekeeping department of Ellis Hospital for 27 years. Vivian was a classic movie buff, a knitter and enjoyed many activities at the Center. She was predeceased by her brothers: James, Cortland, Francis and Edward Hopkins. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at a future date. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, in Colonie. Arrangements are by Bond Funeral Home, Schenectady.
