Virginia D Dietz

Virginia D. Dietz, 81, of VanVranken Avenue and formerly of Palm Coast, Fl, started her new journey surrounded by her family on Wednesday January 10, 2007 at the Avenue Nursing Home in Schenectady. Virginia was born in Queens, NY and was the daughter of the late Edward and Edith (Johnson) Goss. She was a homemaker. Virginia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Rexford. For many years she was involved with the 4-H Clubs. Virginia is predeceased by two husbands- the Late Harold Garry and the late Charles H. Dietz, 3 sisters and one brother. She is survived by 8 Children-Dorothy Norton (Jack) of Rotterdam, Carol Dutcher (Claude) of Schenectady, Holly Schaeffer of Salt Lake City, Ashley Garry of California, Virginia Shairk of Orlando, Fl., Dale Herodes of Middleburgh, Lynn Whitmer ( James) of Florida and Charles Dietz ( Joanne) of Idaho, also survived by 29 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Saturday 3PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints 31 Bradt Road Rexford. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Saturday 1-3PM at the church. Internment will be in Flagler Palm Coast Memorial Gardens in Florida. Contributions can be made in Virginia's memory to the Activities Director-Residence Xmas Party at the Avenue Nursing Home 526 Altamont Avenue Schenectady, NY 12303.
