Virginia L. Amell, 65, of Schenectady passed away on Thursday November 20. 2025 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Chichester, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of John and Marjorie (Arnott) Sauerheber.
She was a home maker.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son Jacob Amell.
Virginia is survived by her daughter Nicole George, her brother Wayne Sauerheber, her sisters Vivian Lord and Shirley Hamilon, her grandchildren Isaac, Zachary, Ian, Aiden, Tayshawn, Zarayah and Jaylynn.
A Celebration of Virginia’s life will be Friday November 28, 2025 from 2-3PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady.
