Vincent D Lucier Jr

Vincent D. Lucier Jr., 78, of Schenectady passed away in South Carolina on Friday May 12, 2023 with his loving wife by his side.

Born in Schenectady, NY, he was the son of the late Vincent D. Lucier Sr and Rita Lucier. He was a graduate of the first graduating class at Bishop Gibbons High School and attended Union College & St. Rose. He was employed by General Electric until retiring in 2002. He spent his retirement employed by Bond’s Funeral Home & DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home.

He was widely involved in his community as a member of the Elks,Knights of Columbus, Sons of Italy, Hibernians, Schenectady Old Timers Baseball Club & the men’s First Friday Group from Mount Carmel Church. He was an usher & enjoyed helping out at the church’s annual Festa.

Vince will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 48 years, Rosemary. Step-Daughter, Michele Winn (Bruce); grandchildren, Alexandra Anthony (Jack), Bailey Lucier, Cecelia Winn, and Walton Winn; siblings, Bill (Jeanie), Sue, Kate and Tom (Mona); and many nieces, nephews and long-time friends.

Vince was predeceased by his son, Kevin, and his daughter-in-law, Janet.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 9-10:30 at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave.Schenectady. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1255 Pleasant Street, Schenectady.

Inurnment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery Mausoleum in Niskayuna.
