Vincent M Conte

Vincent M. Conte, 85, passed away on Friday night January 26th at Albany Medical Center with family by his side. Born and educated in Hudson, Vincent was the son of the late John and Anna (Casaregola) Conte and a graduate of Hudson High School. A Korean War veteran, Vincent also received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Union College. A Quality Control Engineer at the General Electric Company, Vincent retired in the mid 1990's after over 41 years of service. A member of the G.E. Quarter Century Club, Vincent was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and was an avid gardener and hunter. Predeceased by his parents and his siblings; Antoinette Jablonski, Mary Abate, Anna Hafner, Joseph Conte, Fred Conte and Louis Conte, Vincent is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Angelina M. (Ciccarelli) Conte, his children; Josie A. Conte (Nicholas Heller) of Portland, ME, Angela M. Conte of Schenectady and Vincent A. Conte (Donna) of Williston, VT, his brother; John Conte of Greenport, NY, his sister; Margaret Jennings of Claverack and his grandchildren; Alexandra Heller, Amber Conte and Maxim Heller. Vincent is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Vincent will be held on Saturday morning February 3, 2018 at 9:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace, 210 Princetown Road, Rotterdam, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be held in Cedar Park Cemetery in Hudson in the spring.
