Veronica R Hodoroski

Veronica Hodoroski 92 of Rotterdam died Tuesday afternoon July 1, 2008 at Baptist Health Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with her family by her side. Born in Troy, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Ruth (Breen) O'Connell. A homemaker, Veronica was a member of St Gabriel's Church in Rotterdam and enjoyed crocheting and making crafts. Veronica was predeceased in 1999 by her husband William Hodoroski who she married July 2, 1937 and two brothers Patrick and Frank O'Connell. Survivor's include her children, William Hodoroski (Barbara) of Delanson, Patricia Pena of Schenectady, Robert Sheehan (Sharon) ,Richard Sheehan (Rhonda) and Patricia Gentile (Richard) all of Rotterdam, a sister, Catherine Clas of Rotterdam, 16 grandchildren,21 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday morning July 7th at 11am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening July 6th from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 44o New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the wonderful staff at the Baptist Health Nursing and rehabilitation Center for the excellent care of their mother. We are forever grateful.
