Vernon Francisco

Vernon E. Francisco 58 went home to be with his lord on Thursday December 22, 2005 after losing a long battle with cancer. Born in Schenectady he was the son of George and Shirley (Klock) Francisco and attended Linton High School. Vernon moved to Scotia and worked for Englerts Auto Parts, Salisbury Chevrolet in Scotia and several other auto dealerships. Vernon enjoyed Dirt Track Racing and camping and was also a fan of NASCAR. Survivors include two children Vernon Francisco Jr. and Melissa Francisco both of Ballston Spa, two sisters, Sandra Keough ( Tom) of Rotterdam, Marlene Rosato (Chris) of Scotia, three brothers, George Francisco ( Jan ) , Franklin Francisco ( Ruth) and David Francisco ( Karen) all of Scotia, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren ,several nieces, nephews, cousins and many good and faithful friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY with a calling hour being held from 12 to 1 pm prior to the service. Interment in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Contributions to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, 12308 or to the American Cancer Society ,260 Osbourne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211
