Vera Bowman

Vera E. Bowman 74 died Sunday morning May 28, 2006 at her home in Rotterdam. Born in Malone, NY, she was the daughter of the late Deforest and Gladys (Garlich) Clark. A homemaker, Vera worked as a nurse's aide at Ellis hospital and later for Hallmark Nursing Center before her retirement. She was predeceased in September 1976by her husband Paul W. Bowman Sr. Survivors include four children, Sheila m. Bowman Schaninger (Michael of Rotterdam, MaryAnn Bowman Oddy (Leonard) of Rotterdam, David M. Bowman of Albany and Paul W. Bowman Jr. of Rotterdam, three grandchildren, Leonard Oddy, Erica Schaninger and Joshua Schaninger, and several brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 12 noon to 1 pm prior to the memorial service.
