Vanda Mazur

Vanda Mary Mazur 95 died Saturday December 24, 2005 at Wilkinson Center in Amsterdam after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Bronislaw and Mary Czebatorowski and a graduate of Nott Terrace High School. A homemaker, Vanda worked at the general Electric during WW2 and part time at the Glenville Weekly. She loved gardening and was a member of the Burnt Hills Garden Club and also worked at the former Dibbles Nursery. Vanda was predeceased in 1981 by her husband of 39 years John C. Mazur and a sister Stella Perrine. Survivors include two children John Peter Mazur and wife Helen Jane of West Charlton and Patricia A. Wojturski and husband Robert of Amsterdam, four grandchildren, John Minckler, Susan Wojturski, John Mazur and Christina Forfia, three great grandchildren, Justin, Joseph and Robbi, 3 nieces and 4 nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY with a calling hour being held from 10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service. Interment in Memory's Garden Cemetery. Contributions may be in her memory to a charity of choice.
