Tina J. McLaine 59, of Rotterdam passed away at Ellis Hospital on Monday February 21st after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Schenectady, Tina was the daughter of the late Dewey and Catherine (Roberts) Grant and attended Duanesburg High School.
A homemaker, Tina was devoted to her family especially her cherished 5 grandchildren. She was a lifelong caregiver who loved to laugh and enjoyed making family and friends smile.
Tina is survived by her beloved husband of 39 years Michael J. McLaine who she married on May 28, 1983, her 3 children, Amy M. Bradley of Troy, Ryan M. McLaine (Justine) of Johnstown and Amanda K. McLaine (Michael Nethaway) of Schenectady, her 5 grandchildren, Kendal, Connor, Andrew, Gianna and Adalynd, her siblings, Christopher Grant (Medina) of Schenectady, Cerese Rykowski (Robert) of Duanesburg, Todd Grant (Karen) of SC, Brian Grant (Tina) of Schenectady, Paul Grant (Wendy) of Duanesburg, Lori Rose (Ed) of Glens Falls and Kevin Grant (Brandi) of Selkirk and her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Tina’s life will be held on Monday February 28th at 7 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady. A visitation for family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7 pm prior to the services.
