Thomas J Therriault

Thomas J. Therriault , 95,formerly of Rotterdam passed away Tuesday January 24, 2017 at Saratoga Hospital surrounded by his family. Born in Cohoes, NY, Tom was the son of the late Arthur and Ellen (Kelly) Therriault and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. A United States World War II Army veteran, Tom was a printer for over 33 years at the MAQUA Company in Schenectady and later retired in 1988 from New York State Division of Parole after 10 years of service. A former member of St Madeleine Sophie Church, Tom was an avid golfer and a member of the Dutch Masters Golf League. Predeceased by his grandson Scott Therriault and his sister Mary Tanner, Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years Marie A. (VanDenburg) Therriault, his children, Thomas A. Therriault (Sharon) of Saratoga and Janine M. Mone (Anthony) of Wilton, his grandchildren, Bryan Therriault (Erica), Rebecca McCarthy(Brendon), Julie Jones(Dave) and Dean Babin and his 8 great grandchildren, Alexandra, Ella, Billy ,Justin, Cal, Grant, Nate and Nora. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 11 am on Saturday January 28th at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Guilderland, NY. There will be no calling hours by request. Thomas family would like to thank the Nurses and Doctors on D wing at Saratoga Hospital for their care and compassion to both him and the family during his illness.
