Thomas G O'Donnell

Thomas G. O' Donnell 69 passed away Saturday March 19th at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born and educated in Schenectady, Tom was the son of the late Patrick J. and Mary (Mahoney) O'Donnell and brother of the late James O'Donnell. Tom worked as a printer for many years and was a member of the Printers Union, he later retired from Schenectady ARC. A member of the Communication Workers of America, Tom was an amateur photographer, kayaker ,bicyclist and hiker. Tom was also an animal lover especially his beloved chocolate lab, Molly. Survived by his beloved wife Catherine F. (Haines) O'Donnell, his childen; Colleen M. Flower (Ronald) and Laura M. Buzas (Jesse) both of Rotterdam, his grandchildren; Julia and Kerry Flower and Caitlin and Megan Buzas. Tom is also survived by his, sister Ellen Moynahan of Garden City, LI, brother John O'Donnell of Florida, sister-in-laws, Evelyn Iacobucci (Michael) of Glenville, Roberta Jevitt (Richard) of Charlton and Mary Adams of Schenectady along with several nieces and nephews. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Road, Schenectady, NY. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will be held for Tom on Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY Interment will follow in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
