Thomas R. Martin Schenectady, NY Thomas R. Martin 89 of Hattie Street died Saturday morning August 14, 2004 at Ellis hospital after a long illness. Born and educated in Schenectady he was the son of the late Thomas H. and Grace Gordon Martin. Thomas worked for the General Electric Company as an electrician for many years before his retirement in 1960. Thomas is survived by his wife Harriet M. (Trundy) Martin who he married of May 13, 1989, a daughter; Patricia M. Berry of Scotia, a brother; Charles Martin and wife Wilda of Bakers Mills, NY, a sister; Ruth Van Wagenen of Rotterdam, 3 grandchildren; Lana Berry of Saratoga, Edith Banker and husband David of Rotterdam and Michele Ruzzo and husband Steven of Rotterdam, 3 great grandchildren; David Banker, Sarah Banker and Anthony Ruzzo and several nieces and nephews. He was also predeceased by his brother James Martin, a sister Mabel Belrose, a son-in-law Anthony Berry and grandson Anthony Berry Jr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home Tuesday morning from10 to 11 am prior to the funeral service. Interment in Viewland Cemetery, Rotterdam, NY.
