Thomas E Grisby Sr

Thomas E. Grisby Sr., 57, of Schenectady passed away at home on Thursday November 29, 2018. Born in White Plains, NY, he was the son of the late James M. Grisby and Nellie M. (Collins) Grisby.

He was employed as a cook for Chipotle Mexican Grill in Niskayuna.

Thomas is predeceased by one brother David Grisby.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife Joyce (Jordan) Grisby whom he married October 6, 2006, two sons Thomas Grisby Jr. (Elizabeth) of Schenectady and Christopher Grisby (Desiree) of East Greenbush, one daughter Kianna Grisby of Atlanta, GA, 3 foster children, Christina Cole,Tabatha Cole and Tyler Cole all of Schenectady, two brothers James Grisby of Washington, DC and Roosevelt Grisby of Yonkers, NY, two sisters Allison Freeman of Pawling, NY and Dorene Grisby of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by five grandchildren-Naionna, Kasandra, Natalie, Valerie and Alexander.

A Celebration of Thomas life will be at the Bridge Christian Church 735 Crane Street Schenectady on Saturday December 15, 2018 at 2 PM.
