Thomas P Fiorillo

Thomas P. Fiorillo, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his home in Rotterdam. Thomas was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Michael and Carmella (DeVito) Fiorillo. Thomas honorably served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a mason for many years, working for the Local Bricklayers and Allied Craft Works #2. A member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Thomas loved helping his family and neighbors. He was a member of the Iroquois Rod and Gun Club, always eager to share his love for target shooting. Thomas proudly built 2 homes in his lifetime. Thomas leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Helena (DeMidio) Fiorillo, his children, Paula Joslin (Jack) of Rotterdam, Michael T. Fiorillo (Shirley Favreau) of Rotterdam, Lisa Middleton of Rotterdam and Timothy J. Fiorillo (Dawn) of Cobleskill, as well as 7 grandchildren, Julie, Jared, Jessica, Jennifer, Kelsey, Madalyn and Mallory and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, March 14, at 9:30am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 210 Princetown Rd., Schenectady, 12306. Donations in Thomas' name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1 Computer Drive South #104, Albany, NY 12205 or to a charity of one's choice.
