Theodore McCall Evenden 57 of Pattersonville died from injuries sustained in a car accident on Thursday August 7, 2008. He is survived by his three daughters, Clarissa Kate (17), Haley Lorah (15) and Elana Grace (10), his former wife, Renee Evenden of 23 years who he married on May 26, 1984 all of Delanson, his mother Mona Evenden of Schenectady, brother Tim Evenden of Alta, Utah, sister Teri Trischett of Schenectady, aunts and uncles Malcolm and Betty MacGregor of Park City ,Utah and R.J. and Ann McCall of Delhi, three sister-in-laws, Lorna Evenden of Alta ,Utah, Melanie Herrick of Worcester, MA., Wendy Weideman of Howes Cave, two brother-in-laws, Ashley Weideman and Don Trischett, three nephews James and Daniel Evenden of Alta Utah and Keegan Weideman of Howes Cave, four nieces Emily and Lauren Herrick of Worcester, MA , Kristen and Hannah Weideman of Howes Cave and numerous cousins. Ted was predeceased by his father Theodore C. Evenden in 1995. He will be remembered and greatly missed by many extended family members and friends. Born in Syracuse, NY he was a 1969 graduate of Schalmont High School and had attended Rochester Institute of Technology, Union College, SCC and SUNY Albany. He had been employed at GE and at the Research and Development Center in Niskayuna for over 35 years as a metallurgist and Staff Scientist. He earned many patents with the most recent being awarded for his work with zirconia-stabilized multi-filamentary niobium-tin superconducting wire. He was an avid reader, lover of math, science, history -especially that pertaining tom WWII and watcher of all kinds of movies. He greatly looked forward to vacationing in Lake George every year with his family. Funeral services will be held on Monday evening August 11th at 7 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7 pm prior to the funeral service. Private family interment in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi, NY Ted loved his family especially his three beautiful daughters. He was devoted to the care of his pets leaving behind Cody, the dog he worshiped.
