Thelma M Zeh

Thelma M. Zeh died on Thursday June 21st at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Born in Carlisle, NY, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Muriel (Walker) Eggleston. A graduate of Cobleskill High School, Ellis School of Nursing and Russell Sage College, Thelma worked for the Schenectady City School District for over 30 years before her retirement in 1986 as a School Nurse Teacher. A member of Faith United Methodist Church, a 40 years member and past president of the Schenectady Light Opera, Thelma producer over 35 shows and was also a member of the Board of Directors. She was a board member of Big Brothers & Big Sisters, a Board member of the Schenectady Civic Players and ran the Dinner Theater at the Italian American Center for 5 years. Thelma is survived by her daughters, Leslie Kaufman (Philip) and Connie Brancasi both of Niskayuna and her grandson Jacob Brancasi of Los Angeles ,CA. Funeral service will be held at 1:30pm on Monday afternoon June 25th at Faith United Methodist Church, 811 N. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady, NY with a visitation for 1 to 1:30 prior to the service.
