Thelma M Schworm

Thelma M. Schworm 82 of Schenectady died Sunday February 19, 2006 at St. Clares Hospital after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Marie Countermine. Thelma worked for the General Electric during WW2 and later worked for Mohanasen High School for 17 years before retiring in 1981. Thelma was a member of the former Fisher United Methodist Church. Thelma was predeceased in 2004 by her husband of 56 years John W. Schworm and a brother Irvine Countermine. Survivors include her children, Mark W. Schworm (Donna) of Rotterdam and Sharon E. Kemmer (Robert) of Schenectady, a brother Clarence Countermine of Schenectady, two sisters, Joan Barber of Altamont and Sandra Garling of Schenectady, four grandchildren, Ryan Kemmer, Kelly Kemmer, Todd Schworm and Jared Schworm ,a great grandson, Tyler Willey and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon February 23, 2006 at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A calling hour will be held Wednesday evening February 22, 2006 from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park, Contributions may be made in her memory to Community Hospice, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308
