Terry L Mickey (Borst)

Terry L. Mickey, 66, of Guilderland passed away at St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday September 4, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Emma (Wiedeman) Borst.

She was a graduate of RPI with a bachelors degree in computer science. Terry before raising a family, was employed as a computer programmer for the former Factron Company in Latham.

Terry was passionate about making crafts. One of her great joys, was making hand made teddy bears as a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House in Albany. She also loved her cats.

She is survived by her loving husband Harry Mickey whom she married August 20, 1977 and her loving daughter Catherine Mechner (Steven) of Rotterdam.

Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-8PM at the Bond Funeral Home. 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Face masks and social distancing will be followed. A graveside service will be Friday at 10AM at Viewland Cemetery Princetown Road in Rotterdam.
