Susan Hunt Gatti

Susan Hunt Gatti, 58, of Esperance, passed away at her home on Saturday November 28, 2009 surrounded by friends and family after a valiant and courageous battle with Cancer. Born in Norristown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Betty Jane (Adams) Hunt. Susan was a graduate of A.D. Eisenhower High School and attended Nursing School at Sacred Heart Hospital in 1972. She worked in several different hospitals throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan area and later became a private duty nurse working primarily with children. Susan strived to want to help others and always wanted to be the best mother, wife and friend possible. She loved and was supportive to anyone that knew her. Susan is predeceased by one brother Michael Hunt. She is survived by her husband Glenn Gatti whom she married April 4, 1981, one son Matthew A. Gatti of Esperance, one sister Carin Talone of Collegeville, PA, also survived by several nieces and nephews and many loving friends. A Memorial Service will be Saturday December 5, 2009 at 10AM at Union Presbyterian Church 1068 Park Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Gathering will be held Saturday 9-10AM at the church prior to the service. Contributions can be made in Susan's memory to the Potsdam College Foundation 44 Pierrepont Avenue Potsdam, NY 13676. Please indicate that the contribution is in memory of Susan. A scholarship will be given to an aspiring tubist who will be attending the Crane School of Music.
