Susan C. (Williams) Deyoe, 78, of Schenectady, NY passed away peacefully at The Pines at Glens Falls on July 5th, 2026. Susan was born August 25, 1947 in Schenectady, NY to the late Robert and Marjorie (Heigel) Williams. She was raised in Schenectady, NY. She graduated from Mont Pleasant High School, Class of 1965. Susan was a Dental Assistant for dental practices throughout Schenectady. She was known and loved by many of her Campbell Ave. neighbors as the lady who took her much loved kitty cats on walks on a leash. Susan also loved to garden and her vacations to Hampton Beach.Susan was predeceased by her husband of forty eight years, James H. Deyoe, her sister Michele Zotara and brother Charles Williams.She is survived by her caring son Sean Mercoglan (Jennifer Beatty) of Glenville; her loving sister and caregiver Mary Williams Edwards (James) of Gansevoort, niece, Goddaughter and caregiver Cathlyn (Brian) Masick, their children Benjamin and Annabelle all of Rotterdam, niece and hair stylist who always made sure her Aunt Susie’s hair looked good, Elizabeth (Gus) Hufland and son Tyler, of Colonie, sister-in-law Carol Williams of Gloversville and children Lisa, Christine, Stephanie, Chuck and Catherine, and their families, brother-in-law Larry Zotara of Schenectady, brother-in-law John (Laurie) Deyoe of Schuylerville and their children, and many other great-nieces and great-nephews and their families.Cousins George (Candi) Heigel, Cindy (the late Mike) Stevens, and Kathleen (Phil) Voss.The family would like to thank neighbors and friends Vince and Donna Riggi and Jessica for always being there to help out. We would also like to thank the wonderful and caring staff of The Pines at Glens Falls for the loving care and kindness Susan received from each and every one of you and for the support and comfort you provided for her family.Services will be held Wednesday July 15th at the Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Broadway, Schenectady, NY. There will be a calling hour from 10:30 to 11:30 am.with a service at 11:30am Interment will be at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Protective Foundation, 53 Maple Ave., Schenectady, NY 12302
