Susan M. Benway 49 of Saratoga Springs died late Monday evening July 9th at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of late Ralph and Beverly (Orsini) Bell Sr and attended Schenectady County Community College. Susan worked for over 14 years at the St Charles and St Francis Motels in Saratoga for Richard Miczek whom she appreciated working for very much. Susan was the manager at the time of her death. She was also a member of the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce. Survivor's include her husband of 30 years Wesley R. Benway Sr. ,three children, Billy Joe E. Bell (Jen) of Saratoga, Wesley Benway Jr. (Michele) of Ballston Spa and Beverly Nash ( Edward) of Ballston Spa, four brothers, Randy Bell of Delanson, Roger Bell of Salisbury, NY, Rick Bell of Ephrata, NY and Rory Bell of Gloversville, a sister, Rosemary Bell of Saratoga, 13 grandchildren, Billie Jo Ryle, Faleysha Seamen, Zachary Ryle, Chase Ryle, Jennica Sue Nash, Michael Nash, Brittany Nash, Craig Dufore, Elijah Ryle, Jacob Ryle, Angleo Iovino, Joshua Ross and Colby Ross and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon July 13th at 1 pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm. Interment in Schenectady Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in her memory to the family to help with expenses.
