Steven C Simone

Steven C. Simone 65 of Johnstown, NY died Tuesday morning May 13, 2008 at Samuel S. Stratton V. A. Medical Center in Albany after a short illness. Born in Gloversville, Steven was a graduate of Johnstown high School and the son of the late Steven and Clara (LaRowe) Simone. An Army veteran, Steven was a missile specialist during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He worked for the city of Johnstown for over 20 years as a mechanic and welder. He is survived by his wife and best friend Noella J. (Cipriano) Simone of Syracuse, his children, Roger John Simone(Darlene) of Amsterdam, Jenine Marie Simone(Richard) of Glens Falls and Joseph Michael Proske of Gloversville, his brother Joseph Simone of Johnstown and four grandchildren. A celebration of Steven's life will be held on Monday evening May 19th at 5 pm at Patricia's Restaurant, 32 South Perry St., Johnstown, N.Y.12095.
