Steven R Foland Sr

Steven R. Foland Sr. 57 passed away on Monday April 4, 2016 at Ellis Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Cobleskill, NY, he was the son of the late Roy Foster Foland and his mother Elizabeth (Granby) Foland of Rotterdam. Steven served his country in the US Army. He was employed as an LPN for the Stratton VA Medical Center. Steven was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He valued highly having his family always around him. Steven's interests included building models of all types. He also enjoyed immensely studying military history. Besides his mother, he is survived by his loving wife Beverly (Bressette) Foland whom he married July 16, 2010, two sons Matthew Harding of Schenectady and Steven R. Foland Jr. of Clifton Park, four daughters Jamie Van Guilder (William) of Watervliet, Samantha Foland of Glenville, Stephanie Foland (Brenden Warren) of Everett, MA and Rebecca Foland of Clifton Park, one brother Stacey Foland of Rotterdam, one sister Sharon Houghton (William) of Rotterdam, also survived by three grandchildren-Kristen Foland, Tyler Foland and Julia Browning as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday evening for Steven at 6PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
