Steve M Gortva

Steve M. Gortva, 71 of Glenville passed away at Ellis Hospital on Tuesday July 18, 2017. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Steve and Dolores (Haskey) Gortva. Steve was employed in maintenance for Selected Meat Packers. Steve is survived by his wife Susan( Lessner) Gortva, eleven children -Steven Michael, Tammy, Stevie Allen, Donald Lee, Fawn, Ricky, Jimmy, Billy, Katie, Annie and Danny, one brother Jessy Sipe, four sisters-Sandy, Dolores, Ruthie Marie, and Stephanie, one sister in law Sharon Sipe. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins and one niece and one nephew. A Celebration of Steve's life will be Tuesday evening 7PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. A calling hour will be 6-7PM prior to the service.
