Stanley Styczynski

February 26, 1934 — August 22, 2007

Stanley Styczynski 73 of Rotterdam died Wednesday afternoon August 22nd at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Born in Schenectady, Stanley was the son of the late Walter and Sadie Styczynski and a graduate of Mont Pleasant High School. An Air Force Veteran of the Korean War, Stanley worked for Sterling Winthrop as a Traffic Manager for over 25 years and later worked at Villano Brothers for 10 years as a customer service representative before retiring in 1996. A member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church and the Rotterdam Elks, Stanley enjoyed traveling and wintering in Ft Myers Florida. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Arlene Borkowski Styczynski who he married on August 16, 1953, two children, Sharon Bonitatibus (Louis) of Rotterdam and Gary Styczynski (Lynn) of Rotterdam, a brother, James Styczynski of Schenectady and four grandchildren, Amy Crowley (Ryan), Danielle Bonitatibus, Gregory Bonitatibus and Tiffany Tino. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning August 25th at 8:15am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY followed at 9 am at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Princetown Road, Rotterdam where a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6 to 8 pm. Interment in St. Cyril's Cemetery in Rotterdam, NY.
