Stanley J Sitors Jr

Stanley J. Sitors Jr., 57, of Scotch Church Road, Pattersonville died Thursday at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Stanley was born in Schenectady and was the son of the late Stanley J Sitors Sr. and Shirley Mae (Guiles) Sitors. He is a graduate of Mohanesen High School. Stanley served in the US Air Force in Vietnam. He was employed as an electrician for the General Electric Company in Schenectady for over 30 years, retiring in 2004.Stanley was a member of the VFW and the GE Quarter Century Club. He loved working on his 1969 Dodge Dart and traveling with the car to all the Car Shows. Stanley is survived by one son Richard M. Sitors(Jody) of Scotia, one daughter Tammy Welty(Patrick) of Dallas, Oregon, two brothers Thomas Sitors of Pattersonville and Robert Sitors(Kathy) of Scotia, one sister Patricia Welsh(John) of Middle Grove, NY, also survived by 3 Grandchildren Julia Katherine Sitors, Avery Welty and Breanna Welty as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be Thursday 2PM at the Gerald B.H. Solomon-Saratoga National Cemetery 200 Duell Road Schuylerville, NY with full Military Honors. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend. Calling Hours will be Thursday 11:30-12:30PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Inurnment will be in the Columbarium Wall at the Cemetery.
