Stanley R. Bosy II 54 of Scotia died suddenly on Monday morning September 10th at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Born in Niskayuna, NY, Stan is the son of Marian (Erickson) Bosy of Scotia and the late Stanley R. Bosy. A graduate of Scotia Glenville High School, he served in the Air National Guard for six years. Stanley was a carpenter for Parker & Hammond Construction in Queensbury, NY and was a member of the Carpenters Local #370 and St. Joseph's Church. He was a former General Electric employee. An avid bowler and sportsman he was a former Highland Soccer coach and a member of the 1970 undefeated Scotia Glenville Baseball Team. Stan loved life and being around family and friends and would always be there to help anyone in need. Beside his mother, Stanley is survived by his wife of 30 years Christine A. (Burke) Bosy who he married July 16,1977, his children, Jessica L. Bosy of Schenectady, Justin W. Bosy of Scotia and Katelyn M. Bosy of Scotia, a grandson, Jacob Campana, his brothers, Marc E. Bosy (Kim) of Rotterdam and Lt. Commander Thomas Z. Bosy (Karen) of Warrenton, VA, his sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws, Stan and Patti Barus of Stillwater and Jack and Joan Durkin of Scotia . He was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning September15, 2007 at 10 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY. Calling Hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening September 14th from 4 to 8 pm. Interment in Park cemetery in Scotia. In lieu of flowers contribution may be made in his memory to the Stanley R. Bosy II Memorial Fund for his children's Education in C/O Trustco Bank.
