Shirley J. Matthews 71 of Schenectady died Thursday morning March 6, 2008 at St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, NY. Born in Saratoga, NY, Shirley was a homemaker that enjoyed bingo and was the long time companion of James Truesell of Schenectady. She is also survived by her son Stephen Roche of Schenectady and three grandchildren, Stephen, Amber and Joshua Roche. Funeral service will be held on Monday morning March 10th at 11 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave, Schenectady, NY.
