Sherry Marie "Anderson" Byrne

Sherry Marie (Anderson) Byrne 50, passed away peacefully Thursday morning March 17th at Ellis Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Niskayuna, Sherry is the daughter of Ronald and Laura (Stevens) Anderson of Guilderland and a graduate of Mohonasen High School. Sherry's always felt the greatest accomplishment in her life was the birth of lovely daughter Kelly. They enjoyed happy times together at home or on there many vacations with each other. Sherry's presence will live on with her Guardian Angel . Sherry will always be remembered by her beautiful blue eyes, her captivating smile and her laughter. Sherry was predeceased by her loving grandparents: Donald and Alma Stevens, Linwood Anderson and a cousin Philip. Survivors include her beloved daughter Kelly Marie Byrne of Clifton Park, parents; Ronald and Laura Anderson of Guilderland, her aunt; Joan Davis and uncle Philip Stevens, her fiancée'; Thomas J. Lannon of Rhode Island and 2 cousins; Anne Marie DePoalo and Tracy Emmi. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning March 22nd at 9:15 am at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY followed at 10 am at St Madeleine Sophie Church, 3500 Carman Road, Schenectady, NY where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. A visitation for Sherry will be held on Monday evening March 21st from 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home. Sherry's family would like to thank the doctor's, nurses and hospital staff in the critical care unit at Ellis hospital for the care and compassion shown to Sherry and our family during this very difficult time.
