Sheila M. Wiley,54, passed away at her home on Saturday November 30th surrounded by family.

Born in Schenectady, Sheila was the daughter of the late Elizabeth (Dickson) Lyons and Timothy Lyons of Galway. A graduate of Mildred Ellie Business School, Sheila received an Associate’s degree in Graphic Design.

A call center representative for the New York State Office of Children’s and Family Services in Albany for many years,
Sheila was a devoted mother, grandmother partner and friend.

Beside her father Timothy Lyons, Sheila is survived by her children, Crystal Peculis (Michael) of Stillwater, Samantha Villanova of Arizona and Kayla Smith (Dustin) of Galway, her 6 grandchildren, her partner, James Mishook of Galway, sisters, Kimberly Lyons of Schenectady and Alyvia Lyons of Oklahoma, a brother, Eric Lyons of Oklahoma and her aunt Katherine Johnson of Galway.

A celebration of Sheila’s life will be held on Sunday December 8, 2019 from 10 to 12 noon at the Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Ave., Schenectady, NY. a time for sharing will begin at noon.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Sheila’s memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA 02215 or to the IBC Network Foundation, PO Box908, Friendswood, TX, 77546 .
