Sharon H Melius (Yanke)

Sharon H. Melius, 69, of Glenville formerly of Rotterdam passed away on Tuesday October 9, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hubert and Frances Yanke. She served her country in the Army from 1968-1969.Sharon was employed as an operator for the New York State Department of Health in Albany Sharon was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Schenectady. She was also supportive of the Schenectady Theater for children. She is predeceased by her husband the Rev. Dr. Arthur Melius. Sharon is survived by two sons Mark Coppola and Paul Coppola, her brothers Larry and Ray and her sisters Shirley and Debbie. Funeral Services for Sharon will be Tuesday October 16, 2018 at 2PM at the Faith United Methodist Church 811 N. Brandywine Avenue Schenectady. Calling Hours will be Monday evening from 5-7PM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Burial will be Private at Parkview Cemetery in Schenectady.
