Sharon Rose Layton

Sharon Layton, 60, passed away on Thursday July 6, 2023 at home in Guilderland. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Roth) Layton.

She was a resident with the Center for Disabilities for many years. The Layton family wish to express their deepest gratitude to the Center and their staff for the wonderful care of Sharon.

Sharon was a member of the Bridge Christian Church in Schenectady.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Ralph Layton.

Sharon is survived by her two brothers Donald Layton and Wayne Layton (Judith), a sister Debra Shipley (William) as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Funeral Services for Sharon will be on Thursday July 13, 2023 at 10AM at the Bond Funeral Home 1614 Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening from 5-7PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Schenectady Memorial Park in Rotterdam.
