Sharon S Williams (Dorey)

Sharon S. Williams, 60, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning October 21st at Albany Medical Center. Born and educated in Niskayuna, Sharon is the daughter of Ida Mae (O'Bryan) Dorey of Glenville and the late Edward Dorey Sr. A graduate of Niskayuna High School, Sharon worked as a LPN at Kingsway Arms Nursing Home for over 15 years and with Capital Care at Ellis Hospital for more than 6 years. Devoted to her children and grandchildren, Sharon enjoyed baking, reading cook books and doing word search puzzles. Beside her mother Ida Mae, Sharon is survived by her beloved children; Brandi L. Kerber (Michael) of Sprakers, Charles M. Williams of Schenectady, James E. Williams of Schenectady and Lisa M. Williams (Wilson Yauri) of Rotterdam, her chershed grandchildren; Cameren, Tristen, Mikey, Kayla, Austin and Jacob, her brothers; Edward Dorey Jr. of Glenville and Thomas Dorey Sr. of Esperance and her sister; Barbara Pepper of Rotterdam along with many nieces and nephews. A visitation for Sharon will be held on Friday evening October 27th from 5 to 7pm at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY. A celebration of Sharon's life will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 7 pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be in the North Milton Cemetery.
