Sharon L Apollo

Sharon L. Apollo 65 of Schenectady died Saturday evening November 1st at Ellis Hospital after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, she was the daughter of the late Ollie and Laura LaJuett and a graduate of Schalmont High School. Sharon worked for over 30 years in New York State Labor Department in data entry before her retirement. She was a member of the CSEA and enjoyed reading and shopping. Sharon is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael J. Apollo who she married on January 6, 1963, her three children; Richard Apollo (Patricia) of Helena, Alabama ,Terese Murray of Birmingham, Alabama and Nicole Potter (William) of Delanson, 7 grandchildren: Brad and Justin Murray, Jeremy and Renee Apollo and Alyssa, Ashley and Ryan Potter. Funeral service will be held at Bond Funeral Home, Broadway & Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY on Wednesday evening November 5th at 6:30 pm. A calling hour will follow the service from 7 to 8 pm. Private interment in Saratoga National Cemetery. Contributions may be made in her memory to the National Rheumatory Arthritis Foundation or to the A.S.P.C.A.
