Sandra L. DeMott

Sandra L. DeMott, 75, of Pattersonville, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady.

Sandy was a proud graduate of Schalmont High School. Following her graduation, she pursued her passion for helping others by completing a course in childcare, which led to her working at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam. She later transitioned to a career at Danaher, where she dedicated many years of service until her retirement in 2004.

In her free time, Sandy loved life's adventures. She especially enjoyed setting sail on cruises and taking vibrant trips to the casinos.

She was predeceased by her beloved parents, Robert and Grace DeMott, and her brother, Richard.

Her memory will be cherished by her surviving family, including her sisters, Nancy DeMott and Debbie Bonneville, and Debbie's husband, Fred. She is also survived by her nephews, Mark (Genetle) and Kevin, her many cousins, and her dear friend, Linda Wurt.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Linda for the exceptional and compassionate care she provided to Sandy.

Relatives and Friends are invited to call from 11 am to 12 pm on Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Bond Funeral Home, 1614 Guilderland Avenue, Schenectady, NY 12306. A Funeral Service will commence at 12 noon followed by interment in Viewland Cemetery, Rotterdam.
