Samuel Michael Butler

Samuel Michael Butler, known as Mike departed this life Friday September 1, 2006 at Ellis Hospital after a long illness. Mike was born in New York City at Harlem Hospital and was the son of George and Rosalina (Stallings) Butler. Mike was employed by the NYC Department of Sanitation. He worked as a contractor for many years. Later he became a self employed. Mike leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife Denise Taylor Butler, his children Mike, Travone, Malik, Hassan and Cherisse, 5 Grandchildren-Christopher, Na'im, Ayanna, Vanisia and Malik, his sister Brenda, Brother in Law Clarence Jr., Nieces Mist, Tamesha, Nikia, Shanise, Nephews Yazid, William, Thompson, Kareem and Daryl and his Ex Wife Annette as well as a host of Great nieces, Great Nephews, Aunts, Cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2PM at the Bond Funeral Home Broadway and Guilderland Avenue Schenectady. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Calling Hour will be Wednesday 1-2PM at the Funeral Home. Internment will be in Vale Cemetery in Schenectady.
